Happy Mother's Day!

In Ethiopia, through Baal Dan’s partnership with ASDEPO, we are providing life‑saving food ration kits to mothers whose little ones are severely malnourished. These kits are simple, humble bundles of food — but in the hands of a mother fighting for her child’s life, they become hope, strength, and a second chance.

Of all the programs we have ever funded, this one has been among the most profoundly impactful. These food rations have literally saved the lives of hundreds of children at the most fragile moment of their young lives.
I had the privilege of meeting these mothers myself. They welcomed me with such grace and gratitude, and they want you to know how deeply your compassion is felt in their homes and in their children’s health. I saw firsthand the difference your support makes.

Every mother, no matter where she is born, shares the same wish: to see her child grow, thrive, and have a future. Thanks to you, many more mothers in Ethiopia now have that hope within reach.
