This Thanksgiving, we are deeply grateful for you. Your generosity has brought hope and nourishment to children who need it most.

Because of your support we have helped hundreds of little ones in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, South Africa and Ukraine. Thank you for choosing to make a difference. You remind us that gratitude is not just a feeling—it’s an action. From all of us at Baal Dan, we wish you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving filled with warmth, peace, and abundance. With heartfelt thanks to you and all our amazing volunteers and sponsors.

From baking to races, our little ones and young adults with special needs get so much support through the Lighthouse Stimulation Center in South Africa. We have been providing grants to Lucille and the team there for many years and I just love getting their updates and reports on how they spend our grant right down to detailed receipts. When you give to Baal Dan you will always know where your money goes. 

​As Thanksgiving approaches, many of us are making lists and preparing for gathering and special meals with family and friends. It is a wonderful holiday where we intentionally focus on what we are grateful for - especially when there are so many ion the world who have so little.

This Thanksgiving, please help us provide more food for a child in need.

A donation of just $50 provides 3 meals a day for a month for a child living in an orphanage in India, Nepal or Bangladesh. With exchange rates and efficient trustworthy partners we make every dollar stretch so that our little ones have the food they need to survive and thrive!

Thanks to you were able to fill up our $5,000 fund to provide 100 children with an education stipend of $50 each in 2026 through our partnership with Orphan’s Aid Society.

These children have been orphaned or impacted by war in Ukraine and they use their $50 stipend for items like textbooks, winter coats and school supplies. Every dollar counts and the stipend helps to support them staying in school.

100% of your donation goes directly to help children because Baal Dan is run by volunteers that subsidize all the administrative costs of running this charity.

Since the war started in Ukraine over 3 years ago, we have been providing orphans with education stipends to help them stay in school.

For the last 3 years, we provided an education stipend of $50 per child for school supplies for 100 children orphaned or impacted by the war in Ukraine through our partnership with Orphan’s Aid Society.

We would like to continue this program and raise at least $5,000 by this Friday at 5 pm EST.

The $50 per child stipend covers items like textbooks, a winter coat, a bus pass - all to help them stay in school.

100% of your donation goes directly to these children because Baal Dan is run by volunteers that subsidize all the administrative costs of running this charity.
